Show your support for Firefighter Jarrod Leonard

Firefighter/Paramedic Jarrod Leonard, of West Metro Fire Rescue in Lakewood, Colorado was critically injured while leading a high-angle rope training on July 29th. Jarrod's family, the fire department, and the firefighter's union have already received multiple inquires from individuals, fire departments and groups asking how they can help. The union, West Metro Professional Firefighters IAFF L1309, in connection with the family, have set this fundraising site up for all those wanting to assist.

Breast Cancer Awareness

L1309 Members, Thanks to a motion brought by Brother Ricciardi, L1309 is sponsoring a contest to design a new Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirt that will be approved to wear on duty in the month of October. All members will receive a newly designed shirt. This t-shirt will also be sold to the public with proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.
