The West Metro Firefighters Union is overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for our critically injured firefighter, Jarrod Leonard.
Firefighter/Paramedic Jarrod Leonard, of West Metro Fire Rescue in Lakewood, Colorado was critically injured while leading a high-angle rope training on July 29th. Jarrod's family, the fire department, and the firefighter's union have already received multiple inquires from individuals, fire departments and groups asking how they can help. The union, West Metro Professional Firefighters IAFF L1309, in connection with the family, have set this fundraising site up for all those wanting to assist.
All credit card fees will be covered by L1309 and this site does not impose a donation fee. Therefore, 100% of all funds raised here will be given directly to Jarrod and his family.
